The missile turret is used many times in the army. It helps own everyone. Unlike the in the starcraft game, missile turrets are really different in real life. First of all they dont just attack air units. second they are mobile (attached in tanks and boats) and third, they look different. RAMmissile.JPGthis missile turret here is a RAM missile which are attached to united state’s late weight boats. As you can see its a lot different than the terran missile turret in many different ways. (also looks cooler and stronger.) Here is another example of a missile turret RIM-116 Rolling Airframe Missile Launcher 3.jpgThis one is also different from the terran missile turret. It also seems that the terran missile turret seems to have two of those thingys in the top rather than one.

Tartar missile.jpgThis is rather a rocket laucher than a missile turret but its still classified as one .

The Mark 13 is equipped to fire the SM-1 Standard, RGM-84 Harpoon, and RIM-24 Tartar missiles for anti-air and anti-ship defense, and is capable of firing the Standard at a rate of one every eight seconds. Its 40-round magazine consists of two concentric rings of vertically-stored missiles, 24 in the outer ring and 16 in the inner. Pretty cool but the missile turret sends more rockets in eight seconds.

Adatsfire.jpgThis one is my favorite missile turret. Its for a tank so it cant get attacked by air they put this anti air turret system. (I wish terran tanks had that) and if they did it would be an upgrade. This swiss tank has an anti air turret that shoots Nlos missiles.

this is the starcraft missile turret supported by several units. As you can see its a lot different than the ones above. It also seems that this player has put too much air support with two lone tanks marines would be a lot better supported by wraiths medics or goliaths.
